A Quantisnow account is free and only needs an email address and a password. This page covers creating an account, signing in, resetting your password, appearance settings and deleting your account.

## How to create an account

1. Go to [/signup](https://www.quantisnow.com/signup).
2. Enter your **Email** and a **Password** of at least 8 characters.
3. Click **Create account**.
4. Check your inbox for a 6-digit code. Enter it in **Verification code** and click **Confirm & sign in**.
5. You are signed in and taken to [/pricing](https://www.quantisnow.com/pricing), where you can stay on the free account or subscribe to Plus.

If the code does not arrive, check your spam folder. To try a different address, click **Use a different email**.

### Confirming an account later

If you closed the page before entering the code, go to [/confirm](https://www.quantisnow.com/confirm), enter your **Email** and the 6-digit **Code**, and click **Confirm account**.

## How to sign in

1. Go to [/login](https://www.quantisnow.com/login).
2. Enter your **Email** and **Password**.
3. Click **Sign in**.

You stay signed in for up to 30 days on the same browser. After that, or if you clear your cookies, sign in again.

## How to reset a forgotten password

1. On [/login](https://www.quantisnow.com/login), click **Forgot?** next to the password field (or go to [/forgot-password](https://www.quantisnow.com/forgot-password)).
2. Enter your **Email** and click **Send reset code**.
3. On the next page, enter your **Email**, the 6-digit **Reset code** from your inbox and a **New password** of at least 8 characters.
4. Click **Update password**, then sign in with the new password.

### How to switch between dark and light mode

1. Go to [/settings](https://www.quantisnow.com/settings).
2. Under **Appearance**, choose **Dark** or **Light**.

## Mobile app

## Keeping your account secure

- Use a password you do not use anywhere else.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials private and for activity on your account.
- Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout and billing pages and never touch Quantisnow servers.

## How to delete your account

There is no self-serve delete button. To delete your account:

1. Cancel Plus first if you have it (Settings > Billing > Manage billing).
2. Email support@quantisnow.com from the email address on your account and ask for deletion.
