    First BanCorp Announces a 13% Increase in Quarterly Cash Dividend on Common Stock to $0.18 Per Share

    First BanCorp. (the "Corporation") (NYSE:FBP), the bank holding company for FirstBank Puerto Rico, announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.18 per share, which represents an increase of 13% or $0.02 per common share compared to its most recent dividend paid in December 2024. The dividend is payable on March 7, 2025 to shareholders of record at the close of business on February 21, 2025.

    "We are pleased to announce another increase to our common stock dividend. This, combined with our share buyback program, underscores our unwavering commitment to maximizing shareholder value. These actions are supported by our consistent long-term performance, strong capital position, and positive future outlook," said Aurelio Alemán, President and CEO of the Corporation.

    The increased quarterly dividend level equates to an annualized dividend rate of $0.72 per common share.
