"At Timken, we focus on doing business the right way," said Tarak B. Mehta, Timken president and chief executive officer. "We're committed to ethical practices, transparency and a culture of integrity. Congratulations to our employees for upholding this commitment and to all the other companies honored with us."

Ethisphere recognized 136 companies spanning 19 countries and 44 industries this year. Timken is one of only 10 companies to appear on the annual list 14 or more times, and among only 12 honorees this year from the industrial manufacturing sector.

Ethisphere's annual assessment is grounded in its proprietary questionnaire that requires companies to provide over 240 different proof points on practices that further robust ethics and compliance; governance; a culture of ethics; environmental and social impact; and initiatives that support a strong value chain.

"Congratulations to Timken for achieving recognition as one of the World's Most Ethical Companies for the 14th time," said Erica Salmon Byrne, Ethisphere's chief strategy officer and executive chair. "This honor reflects the company's true dedication and a commitment to advancing business integrity. Timken's approach is good for business – employees and other stakeholders value companies that prioritize the kinds of practices we measure with our process."
