The company operates in six segments: Olefins and PolyolefinsÂAmericas; Olefins and PolyolefinsÂEurope, Asia, International; Intermediates and Derivatives; Advanced Polymer Solutions; Refining; and Technology. LyondellBasell Industries N.V. was founded in 1955 and is headquartered in Houston, Texas.
