Amend a newsitem
Newsitems on Quantisnow are crawled from external wires and sometimes contain errors - wrong tickers, garbled headlines, missing context. Submit a correction for any newsitem on the site for a flat $100.
How it works
- 1. Find it. Search by ticker or by words from the headline. Pick the newsitem you want to correct.
- 2. Edit it. Change the title, summary, body, or tagged tickers. The original wire copy is loaded for you to edit against.
- 3. Pay. Flat $100 per change set, via Stripe. No subscription.
- 4. Live. Your correction goes live the moment payment clears. The newsitem keeps its original URL and publish date so anyone who already linked to it still lands on the right page.
When to amend
- - Wrong ticker tagged on a press release.
- - Headline mangled by the parser.
- - Body cut off mid-sentence or missing key context.
- - Issuer wants to add a clarifying note to their own press release.
- - Analyst, IR firm, or reporter spotted a factual error worth fixing on the public record.
