CME Group Inc., together with its subsidiaries, operates contract markets for the trading of futures and options on futures contracts worldwide. It offers futures and options products based on interest rates, equity indexes, foreign exchange, agricultural commodities, energy, and metals, as well as fixed income products through its electronic trading platforms, open outcry, and privately negotiated transactions. The company was formerly known as Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc. and changed its name to CME Group Inc. in July 2007. The investment seeks to replicate, net of expenses, the Credit Suisse NASDAQ Gold FLOWSTM 103 Index. The index measures the return of a âcovered callâ strategy on the shares of the SPDR® Gold Trust (the âGLD Sharesâ) by reflecting changes in the price of the GLD Shares and the notional option premiums received from the sale of monthly call options on the GLD Shares less notional trading costs incurred in connection with the covered call strategy.
