The fund benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against Standard & Poor's (S&P) Insured Municipal Bond Index. It was formerly known as Nuveen Insured Dividend Advantage Municipal Fund. It was formerly known as Nuveen Enhanced AMT-Free Municipal Credit Opportunities Fund. Nuveen AMT-Free Municipal Credit Income Fund was formed on July 12, 1999 and is domiciled in the United States.
