Former Amphenol and Pulse Electronics executive brings more than three decades of wireless, operating and strategic experience

Airgain, Inc. (NASDAQ:AIRG), a leading provider of advanced wireless connectivity solutions, today announced the appointment of Stephan Memmen to its Board of Directors, effective October 1, 2026.

Memmen brings more than three decades of leadership experience across the wireless, antenna and electronic components industries, spanning business ownership, global operations, product development, manufacturing and corporate strategy. He is currently a strategic investor in the wireless and magnetics industries and previously held senior leadership positions at Amphenol Corporation, one of the world’s largest providers of interconnect, sensor and antenna solutions, and Pulse Electronics, a global provider of electronic components and antenna solutions.

Earlier in his career, Memmen owned and led T&M Antennas before joining Amphenol, where he held a series of increasingly senior leadership roles, including Corporate Officer and Vice President within its Mobile Consumer Products Group. In that role, he helped lead a global business serving the mobile handset and wireless device markets. Memmen later served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Flexstar Technology before joining Pulse Electronics as Vice President of Strategy.

"Stephan brings a combination of deep industry knowledge, operating experience and strategic perspective that is highly relevant to Airgain as we continue executing our growth strategy," said James K. Sims, Chairman of the Board of Airgain. "He has built and led businesses across the antenna, wireless and electronic components markets and brings extensive experience navigating periods of growth and transformation. We believe his perspective will add meaningful depth to our Board as Airgain continues to scale and pursue the opportunities ahead."

Memmen commented: "Airgain has built a differentiated position in wireless connectivity, supported by deep technical expertise, strong industry relationships and a growing portfolio of integrated solutions. I see a significant opportunity to build on that foundation as the Company scales its growth platforms and expands its relationships with carriers, enterprises and other strategic customers. I look forward to working with Jim, Jacob and the rest of the Board and executive team to help Airgain capitalize on the opportunities ahead."

Jacob Suen, President and Chief Executive Officer of Airgain, added: "Stephan understands our industry from virtually every angle, from product development and global manufacturing to customer relationships and scaling businesses. His experience in the wireless and antenna markets will be a valuable resource as we focus on converting the opportunities in front of us into sustainable, long-term growth."

Memmen’s appointment is the latest step in Airgain’s efforts to deepen its industry expertise and strategic relationships. The Company has also added experienced wireless and telecommunications executives, including Frank Jules and Jim Bugel, as strategic advisors to support engagement across carrier, enterprise, public safety and fleet markets.
