Item 8.01 Other Events.
On March 6, 2026, Versigent Limited, a subsidiary of Aptiv PLC (the “Company”), publicly filed an amended Registration Statement on Form 10 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) in connection with the Company’s intended separation of its Electrical Distribution Systems business into a new, independent publicly traded company, through a transaction expected to be treated as a tax-free spin-off to its shareholders (the “Separation”).
The Company plans to complete the Separation by April 1, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
