On December 29, 2023, Biolase, Inc. (the “Company”) was informed by Dr. Carol Gomez Summerhays that she intends to resign as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company, effective December 29, 2023. Dr, Summerhays’ resignation is not the result of any dispute or disagreement with the Company or the Board on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies, or practices.
