Item 5.02(b) – Departure of Director

On April 22, 2022, Barbara Stymiest notified BlackBerry Limited (the “Company”) that she will not stand for re-election as a director at the Company’s annual and special meeting of shareholders (the “Annual Meeting”), to be held on June 22, 2022. Ms. Stymiest has served on the Board of Directors of the Company since March 2007 and will complete her current term, which expires at the Annual Meeting. Ms. Stymiest’s decision not to stand for re-election was not the result of any disagreements with the Company on matters related to its operations, policies or practices.
