BMO Wealth Management today announced that Ali Nafii has joined the firm as Managing Director, overseeing the San Diego market.

In his new role, Ali will focus on expanding BMO's wealth management presence across the West Region, with a particular emphasis on serving high-net-worth clients in the San Diego community.

Ali reports to Clark Pingree, West Regional President, BMO Wealth Management.

Ali brings nearly two decades of wealth management experience to BMO. Most recently, he served as Senior Managing Director at Northern Trust Wealth Management, where he led teams, advised complex client relationships, and helped shape market strategy through periods of change and growth. Ali began his career in financial services at Jarislowsky Fraser Global Investment Management in Montreal.

Ali holds an MBA in Finance from Hult International Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Concordia University. He is also deeply engaged in the San Diego community, serving on local nonprofit boards and supporting initiatives.
