Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On November 3, 2022, Michael L. Finch resigned from the Board of Directors of Callon Petroleum Company (the “Company”) effective on that date. Mr. Finch’s decision to resign from the Board of Directors was not the result of any disagreement relating to the Company’s operations, policies, or practices. The Company issued a press release announcing Mr. Finch’s resignation from the Board of Directors, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
