Explanation of Responses:

1. Reflects performance stock units ("PSUs") earned on February 3, 2025, under the Ready Capital Corporation 2013 Equity Incentive Plan, which represent the right to receive one share of Common Stock of the Issuer for each PSU at vesting. Two-thirds of the PSUs earned converted to fully-vested shares of Common Stock on February 3, 2025, and the remaining one-third of the PSUs earned converted to restricted shares of Common Stock on February 3, 2025, which will vest on December 31, 2025, subject to the reporting person's continued service with the Issuer on such date, subject to certain exceptions.

2. Consists of shares of Common Stock withheld by the Issuer, with approval of the Issuer's Board of Directors, in order to satisfy the tax withholding obligation of the reporting person in connection with the vesting of shares of Common Stock.

3. Represents the closing price of the Common Stock on February 3, 2025.
