Seoul-based affiliate to combine global real estate expertise with local market knowledge, technology-driven services, and cross-border connectivity.

MADISON, N.J., Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC today announced the launch of master franchises Coldwell Banker Korea and Coldwell Banker Commercial Korea, expanding the brand's international presence into one of the world's most technologically advanced and globally connected markets. The companies will be led by Myoung-Sik Kim, Chief Executive Officer of Coldwell Banker Korea and Coldwell Banker Commercial Korea.

Based in Seoul's Gangnam district, Coldwell Banker Korea and Coldwell Banker Commercial Korea will provide residential and commercial real estate services to domestic and international clients, respectively. The company's first office launch will be Coldwell Banker Commercial EKR, opening with existing real estate professionals specializing in commercial real estate. Its services will include acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, asset management, market analysis, valuation, strategic marketing, and investment advisory. Coldwell Banker Korea will subsequently expand the company's residential real estate presence in the market.

"It is a profound honor to open a new chapter for the Korean real estate market with the Coldwell Banker® brand," said Myoung-Sik Kim, CEO of Coldwell Banker Korea. "Korea's world-class technology infrastructure provides a strong foundation for bringing together AI, data, and real estate expertise in new ways. By combining our deep understanding of the local market with the Coldwell Banker brand's global resources and network, we have an opportunity to deliver a more integrated, transparent and forward-looking real estate experience. Our goal is not simply to introduce another international real estate brand to the market, but to help establish a new standard for professional, technology-driven and globally-connected service in Korea."

Korea's real estate market is undergoing a significant transformation, with demand and investment increasingly concentrated in prime residential, commercial and alternative assets. Continued demand, limited housing supply, and growing interest in sectors such as hospitality, data centers, and industrial real estate are creating new opportunities across the market.

Korea's advanced digital infrastructure also positions Coldwell Banker Korea to deliver data-driven insights, greater transparency, and enhanced connectivity for clients and investors through the brand's global network.

"Korea is an important and highly dynamic real estate market where technology, global investment and changing client expectations are creating new opportunities," said Mary Lee Blaylock, President of Coldwell Banker Affiliates. "With Myoung-Sik Kim and his experienced team, Coldwell Banker Korea will bring together strong local market expertise paired with the reach, resources, and professional standards that have defined the Coldwell Banker brand for more than 120 years. We are honored to welcome them to the Coldwell Banker network and support their vision for delivering a more connected, transparent and comprehensive real estate experience."
