Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On November 6, 2023, Tae Jung Kim, Vice President of Digital Customer Experience of Coupang, Inc. (the “Company”), notified the Company of his intention to retire from the Company, effective as of January 19, 2024.

The Company issued the following statement: “We would like to thank TJ for his exceptional leadership over the last nine years. He played a critical role in helping Coupang transform the shopping experience for tens of millions of customers. We wish him all the best in his retirement.”
