Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Appointment of Certain Officers, Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

Change in Company Officers and Directors

On November 26, 2024, Kanagaraj Lorenz presented to the current members of the board of directors of Currenc Group Inc., a Cayman Islands exempted company (the “Company”) a resignation letter resigning from his position as member of the board of directors of the Company, effective at the close of business on November 26, 2024. Mr. Lorenz was also a member of the Company’s Audit Committee, Compensation Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. The Board duly accepted his resignation. Mr. Lorenz’s resignation is not due to any disagreements with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies, or practices.
