Northern Trust Wealth Management has appointed Cynthia Brown as President of The Northern Trust Company of Delaware. Reporting to Chief Fiduciary Officer Laura Mandel, Brown will also oversee Northern Trust’s specialized trust services in Nevada.

Brown joins Northern Trust with more than 20 years of trust and fiduciary experience. She most recently served as Director of Special Situs Trusts and President of the Delaware Trust Company for Mechanics Bank. Before that, she spent two decades at Commonwealth Trust Company, following four years in private law practice at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. Brown has played an active role in the development of Delaware trust legislation and is a Fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
