Explanation of Responses:

1. Pursuant to the terms of the Juniper Networks, Inc. 2015 Equity Incentive Plan, the restricted stock unit ("RSU") award becomes 100% vested on the earlier of (A) the one year anniversary of the grant date, and (B) the day prior to the date of the Company's next annual stockholder meeting, subject to the individual maintaining continuous status as a director through the vesting date. The RSU award was granted at the 2024 annual stockholder meeting, which was held on June 4, 2024. The company held its 2025 annual stockholder meeting on May 28, 2025; accordingly, this RSU award vested in full on May 27, 2025.

2. The restricted stock unit is automatically granted pursuant to the terms of the Juniper Networks, Inc. 2015 Equity Incentive Plan to each non-employee director who is elected at (or whose term continues after) the company's annual stockholder meeting. The award will become 100% vested on the earlier of (A) May 28, 2026, and (B) the day prior to the date of the company's next annual stockholder meeting, subject in either case to the director maintaining continuous status as a director through the vesting date.
