HOUSTON, Aug. 18, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Evolution Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:EPM) ("Evolution" or the "Company") announced today that it has commenced an underwritten public offering (the "Offering") of shares of its common stock. In connection with the Offering, Evolution intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase additional shares of common stock, less the underwriting discount and commissions. The Offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the Offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the Offering.

Evolution intends to use the net proceeds from the Offering to fund a portion of the purchase price of its recently announced acquisition of oil and natural gas mineral and royalty interests located in the Permian Basin, and for general corporate purposes, which may include the repayment of a portion of the outstanding borrowings under its senior secured credit facility.
