First BanCorp. (the "Corporation") (NYSE:FBP), the bank holding company for FirstBank Puerto Rico, announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 per share, which represents an increase of 43% or $0.03 per common share compared to its most recent dividend paid in September 2021. The dividend is payable on December 10, 2021 to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 26, 2021.

"We are pleased to announce an increase in the quarterly cash dividend payment on the Corporation's common stock from $0.07 to $0.10 per share commencing in the fourth quarter of 2021. The increased quarterly dividend level equates to an annualized dividend of $0.40 per common share.
