Great Place To Work® and Fortune have named global education company Kaplan No. 1 in the Large category on their 2026 Fortune Best Workplaces in Education & Training™ List. This is Kaplan’s first time being named to this prestigious list. Kaplan has previously been Certified™ by Great Place To Work® for three consecutive years, including 2026.

Gregory Marino, CEO, Kaplan North America, said:

"We’re incredibly proud to be recognized as the No. 1 workplace in the Large category on Great Place To Work® and Fortune’s 2026 Best Workplaces in Education & Training™ list because it reflects Kaplan’s commitment to investing in our people and their growth. We want our employees to have opportunities to build the skills they need to succeed today while preparing for what’s next. That’s especially important as AI and other technologies rapidly reshape how we work and serve our students and partners. By helping our employees continuously learn, adapt, and develop new capabilities, we’re supporting their own professional growth as well as strengthening Kaplan and ensuring that both our people and our company are ready for the future."

Marino spotlights six reasons why Kaplan employees say the company is a great place to work:

Flexibility: Kaplan’s remote and hybrid work environment gives employees greater flexibility in how and where they work, helping them balance professional and personal priorities while staying connected to colleagues and the company’s mission.
Community: Fun, connection, and shared purpose help employees feel part of the Kaplan family. Virtual events bring colleagues together, the New Hire Ambassador program builds connections beyond teams, and Kaplan encourages employees to volunteer together in their local communities.
Gift of Knowledge: Eligible employees and their family members can receive tuition assistance and discounts on Kaplan courses, as well as access to programs offered by Kaplan’s university partners, expanding educational opportunities for the people who make Kaplan’s mission possible.
Develop U: Launched in 2021, Kaplan’s annual virtual learning conference offers dozens of sessions on topics ranging from leadership and health to best practices for harnessing the power of artificial intelligence.
Emerging Leader Program: This eight-week leadership development experience equips high-potential employees with the skills, mindset, and confidence to lead in a fast-changing workplace. The program helps Kaplan develop its next generation of leaders from within.
Leadership Forum: This six-month executive development program helps Kaplan leaders sharpen their leadership skills and collaborate more effectively. Through workshops, mentoring, and real-world challenges, participants build skills focused on ethical leadership and innovation.

Great Place To Work®, the global authority on workplace culture, determines its highly competitive lists using its proprietary Trust Index™ Survey to evaluate and certify thousands of organizations in America’s largest ongoing annual workforce study, based on over 1.3 million survey responses and data from companies representing more than 7.3 million employees.
