Item 8.01.Other Events.

Appointment of Michael S. Bishop as Treasurer

Effective as of August 18, 2023, the Board of Directors of FuelCell Energy, Inc. (the “Company”) appointed Michael S. Bishop, who serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company and as Principal Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer of the Company, to serve as Treasurer of the Company in addition to his other roles. The position of Treasurer was previously held by Greg Adams, who also served as Senior Vice President, Finance, Risk Management of the Company, until his resignation to pursue other opportunities effective as of August 18, 2023.
