Item 8.01. Other Events.

On July 28, 2022, Hanmi Financial Corporation (“Hanmi”) issued a press release declaring a cash dividend of $0.25 per share. The dividend will be paid on August 24, 2022, to stockholders of record as of the close of business on August 8, 2022.

A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
