Herc Holdings Inc. (NYSE:HRI), one of North America’s leading equipment rental suppliers operating through Herc Rentals Inc. ("Herc Holdings," "Herc Rentals" or the "Company"), announced the election of Erik Olsson, former CEO of Mobile Mini and RSC Holdings, to Herc Rentals’ Board of Directors, effective Aug. 18, 2026. Olsson will serve on the Board’s audit committee.

Olsson is an accomplished business leader with a successful track record spanning multiple industries and continents. Most recently, Olsson served as President and CEO of Mobile Mini, one of the world's leading providers of portable storage solutions. He subsequently transitioned to chairman of the Board, where he guided the company through its landmark merger with WillScot.

Prior to Mobile Mini, Olsson served as President and CEO of RSC Holdings, a premier equipment rental provider. Throughout his tenure, Olsson drove a series of transformative milestones, consistently delivering shareholder value and ultimately positioning the company for its acquisition by United Rentals. Olsson was also a member of the Board of Directors and held the roles of both COO and CFO before being appointed CEO.

Olsson has also held board-level positions across several manufacturing companies, serving as chairman at Ritchie Bros. and as a board member at Dometic.

A native of Sweden, Olsson holds a degree in business administration and economics from the University of Gothenburg.
