Certified Public Accountant and former Rivian corporate controller will lead Hims & Hers accounting organization as the company expands into new specialties and global markets

"We're funding today's growth while building the infrastructure for where we're headed, and Jon brings the rigor and judgment to guide our accounting function through both," said Yemi Okupe, Chief Financial Officer. "Jon has led accounting teams through rapid transformation, working with a range of companies in complex, fast-moving environments. He brings breadth and deep technical expertise to Hims & Hers, and I'm looking forward to working alongside him."

Franklin joins Hims & Hers from Rivian, where he served as Vice President, Corporate Controller, responsible for technical accounting, corporate accounting, and financial reporting as the company scaled. Before Rivian, he spent more than 15 years in PwC’s Assurance division, overseeing audits for Fortune 500 multinational organizations and emerging companies across consumer products, technology, and financial services. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Accounting from the University of Michigan, and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Michigan.

As Hims & Hers continues to expand access to personalized care to more people around the world, Franklin will help shape the company’s next stage of growth, bringing a deep commitment to financial stewardship.

"Hims & Hers is serving millions of customers across a growing range of specialties and markets, and that pace of expansion calls for accounting that can continue to scale with it," said Franklin. "The team has built a strong foundation that has already carried the company through major milestones. I'm looking forward to working with them and Yemi to build on it."

Franklin succeeds Irene Becklund, who announced her departure in July after seven years at the company and who will serve as an advisor to support the transition.
