Nationally recognized San Diego luxury team has amassed more than $750 million in career sales volume, including a record-setting $47 million La Jolla sale

The Real Brokerage Inc., a leading technology-enabled real estate platform redefining the industry through innovation and agent culture, today announced that Joy and Robert Aumann, founders of LUXURYSOCALREALTY, have joined the company. The move brings the 10-member San Diego team to Real Luxury and strengthens the company’s presence across some of Southern California’s most sought-after coastal communities.

Based in San Diego, LUXURYSOCALREALTY represents buyers and sellers of high-value coastal properties, oceanfront estates and luxury second homes throughout La Jolla, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Pacific Beach and Solana Beach. The team has generated more than $750 million in career sales volume, including at least 16 waterfront properties.

LUXURYSOCALREALTY has represented clients in some of San Diego’s most significant residential transactions, including the $47 million sale of 6026 Camino De La Costa, the second highest-priced single-family home sale in La Jolla’s history, and a $16 million oceanfront transaction involving a complex reverse 1031 exchange.

The Aumanns have earned national recognition for their production, ranking among RealTrends Verified's Top 1,000 small teams from 2020 through 2025. Based on 2025 sales data, RealTrends Verified ranked LUXURYSOCALREALTY, No. 2 in La Jolla by sales volume and sides and No. 61 in California among medium teams.

"Joy and Rob have built one of San Diego’s most notable luxury real estate businesses, combining deep coastal market expertise, strong relationships, financial sophistication and a forward-thinking approach to marketing," said Jason Cassity, Chief Growth Officer at Real. "They’ve built a brand that resonates at the highest end of the market, and we’re excited to welcome them to Real and give them a platform to build on what they’ve created in San Diego while expanding across Southern California."

Before beginning her real estate career in San Diego, Joy Aumann was a top lender in Minnesota. Her finance background informs the team’s approach to evaluating properties, structuring transactions and advising clients, while her focus on digital marketing has helped LUXURYSOCALREALTY build its brand and reach thousands of consumers each month.

"Real has attracted some of the top digital marketers in the industry, and that really caught our attention," said Joy Aumann. "Consumers find properties and connect with agents differently today, and Real understands where marketing and technology are headed. The platform gives us an opportunity to build on what we’ve created in San Diego while expanding into markets including Orange County, Riverside and Palm Desert."

On joining Real, Robert Aumann said, "The real estate market is shifting, and personal brand is more important than ever. Real gives agents the ability to build their own brands and businesses while being part of a strong community. That approach really resonated with us."
