Explanation of Responses:

1. Restricted shares of common stock granted under Olympic Steel's Amended and Restated 2007 Omnibus Incentive Plan, as amended. The restricted shares vest in one-third increments on December 31, 2024, December 31, 2025, and December 31, 2026, if the Reporting Person continues to be a member of the Board of Olympic Steel on such date.
