DOOR continues to work diligently to file its remaining 2025 SEC reports

ST. LOUIS, Jan. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Latch, Inc., which has rebranded as DOOR ("DOOR" or the "Company"), today announced that the Company filed its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the three months ended March 31, 2025 (the "Quarterly Report") with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC").

The Quarterly Report was filed under the Company's legal name, Latch, Inc., as DOOR continues its transition to the new brand. The Company's shares currently trade on the OTC Markets under the symbol, "LTCH," and the corporate name and ticker update are expected at a later date.

The filing of the Quarterly Report marks another milestone in DOOR's progress toward regaining current SEC reporting status. DOOR is working diligently to complete its remaining SEC filings for 2025.

DOOR is providing unaudited first quarter 2025 financial and business highlights and certain preliminary, unaudited financial information as of and for additional periods in 2025, which remains subject to completion when the Company becomes current with its SEC filing obligations.

Q1 2025 Financial and Business Highlights

Software revenue of $5.2 million, a $0.1 million (2%) year-over-year increase
Total revenue of $15.8 million, a $3.7 million (31%) year-over-year increase, while reducing operating expenses by $1.8 million, a 9% year-over-year improvement
Net loss of $(11.3) million, a $2.4 million (18%) year-over-year improvement
Adjusted EBITDA (non-GAAP) of $(7.4) million, a $1.3 million (22%) year-over-year decrease

Year-End 2025 Cash Position Update

As of December 31, 2025, we estimate DOOR's total preliminary, unaudited cash and cash equivalents and current and non-current available-for-sale securities ("Liquid Assets") to be approximately $34.7 million.⁽¹⁾

DOOR's Liquid Assets decreased by approximately $40.7 million from December 31, 2024 to December 31, 2025. The foregoing decrease was partly due to approximately $18.9 million of outflows attributed to: (i) approximately $12.0 million related to legal fees and settlements for stockholder litigation and the pending SEC investigation, (ii) approximately $3.3 million related to professional service fees incurred in connection with the preparation of our 2023 SEC reports, and (iii) approximately $3.6 million in one-time outflows associated with the transition of engineering contractors in the first half of 2025. While expenses related to the stockholder litigation and SEC investigation are expected into 2026, DOOR anticipates that total cash outflows from operating and non-recurring activities will be meaningfully lower in 2026 compared to 2025.

The decrease in DOOR's Liquid Assets between December 31, 2024 and December 31, 2025 primarily occurred during the quarter ended March 31, 2025, and DOOR experienced a significant reduction in cash outflows during the quarters ended June 30, 2025 and September 30, 2025. During the quarter ended December 31, 2025, our cash position decreased at an accelerated rate due to the payment of a litigation settlement, slower than anticipated collections, and timing of payments to third-party installation partners. ¹DOOR also has current and non-current liabilities including, but not limited to, a term loan that matures on July 15, 2029 with $4.9 million of principal outstanding, deferred revenue, accrued liabilities, accounts payable, and litigation reserves. (1)	As a result of significant discounts provided to our customers on certain long-term software contracts paid in advance, the Company has determined that there is a significant financing component related to the time value of money and has therefore broken out the interest component and recorded it as a component of interest (expense) income, net on the Condensed Consolidated Statements of Operations and Comprehensive Loss. Interest (expense) income, net includes interest expense associated with the significant financing component of $0.7 million and $1.0 million for the three months ended March 31, 2025 and 2024, respectively.
