NEW YORK and STOCKHOLM, July 21, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Nasdaq, Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ), today announced the appointment of Johan Torgeby to its Board of Directors. Torgeby is President and Group Chief Executive at Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB), a leading financial services group in northern Europe headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. Torgeby's appointment is effective immediately and expands the Board to 11 directors. He will be a member of the Finance Committee.

He was appointed President and CEO in 2017. Torgeby serves as a director of SEB, the Swedish Bankers' Association, the Institute of International Finance, and Mölnlycke Holding AB. He received a bachelor's degree in economics from Lund University, Sweden.
