Explanation of Responses:

1. This amendment corrects the name of the Reporting Person. The initial Form 3 inadvertently listed the Reporting Person as Thomas J. Dolan, an individual unaffiliated with Southern California Bancorp.

2. Represents 53,163 restricted stock units ("RSUs"), granted to the Reporting Person as follows: (A) On March 1, 2023, the Reporting Person was granted RSUs representing 12,353 shares that will be issued upon vesting and will vest annually, in substantially equal installments, over a two-year period beginning on March 1, 2024; (B) On May 5, 2022, the Reporting Person was granted RSUs, of which 3,365 shares remain to be issued upon vesting and will vest on May 5, 2024; (C) On March 4, 2022, Reporting Person was granted RSUs of which 5,845 shares remain to be issued upon vesting and will vest on March 4, 2024; and (D) On October 26, 2020, the Reporting Person was granted RSUs representing 28,235 shares that will be issued upon vesting and will vest annually, in substantially equal installments, over a two-year period beginning on December 1, 2024.
