Drinking fluids is a direct way to meet immediate hydration needs while water-rich foods offer a more gradual, complementary source that also delivers vitamins, fiber, and natural electrolytes that fluids alone don't provide. Once Upon a Farm's organic Electrolyte Blends were built around this idea: using real food to support hydration and nutrition, rather than treating them as separate goals.

Once Upon a Farm's organic Electrolyte Blends are crafted with real food and ingredients that naturally provide electrolytes: juicy fruits and veggies, coconut water, and sea salt. Designed to help support daily hydration and electrolyte balance**, these refreshing fruit & veggie purée pouches are available in three tasty kid-approved flavor combinations, including 4oz single-serve pouches and a four-pack offering. Flavors include:

"As a parent of three older kids, I've seen firsthand the importance that electrolytes play in kids' busy lifestyles during the school year, yet many kid-specific options miss the mark on providing key nutrients that children need during this stage of life," said Cassandra Curtis, Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer at Once Upon a Farm. "Our new Electrolyte Blends fill that gap to meet the needs of school-age kids, providing them with a real-food, replenishing snack designed to fit into everyday routines."

Nearly 50% of parents in the U.S. are looking for electrolytes when buying products for kids between the ages of 6-12, according to SPINS, 2024 Kids' Beverage Attributes Survey. "I often talk with young athletes and their parents about ways to support hydration from sources beyond drinks," said Taylor Morrison, Pediatric Sports Dietitian and Once Upon a Farm Expert. "While young active kids don't need all the electrolytes that we see collegiate or professional athletes need, it is still important that they stay hydrated and get key electrolytes to feel and play their best. Once Upon a Farm's Electrolyte Blends have ingredients specifically chosen for their natural electrolytes, which make them even more helpful for active young children and athletes. And they do it in a way where kids will love the taste, and parents can feel good about the ingredients."
