Award recognizes OPAL Fuels’ leadership in advancing renewable natural gas solutions to help heavy-duty fleets displace diesel.

OPAL Fuels (NASDAQ:OPAL), a vertically integrated and nationwide leader in the production and distribution of renewable and compressed natural gas (RNG and CNG) used as transportation fuel for heavy-duty trucking, today announced that it received the 2026 Energy Vision Leadership Award in recognition of its role in advancing renewable energy solutions. The award was presented at Energy Vision’s 20^th Anniversary Milestone Event on October 15 in New York City.

Energy Vision is a New York-based national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing commercial, cost-effective solutions for a carbon-neutral economy through research, education and advisory work. Its annual awards recognize public- and private-sector leaders helping accelerate the transition from fossil fuels to renewable and low-carbon energy sources. At its 20^th Anniversary Milestone Event, Energy Vision brought together leaders from industry, government, academia and the environmental community to celebrate progress toward a lower-carbon future. The organization honored OPAL Fuels for putting that mission into practice through a vertically integrated platform that captures methane, produces low-carbon fuel and delivers it to heavy-duty transportation fleets. By connecting renewable fuel production with a growing network of fueling stations, OPAL Fuels is helping fleets transition from diesel to RNG with a proven, cost-effective solution.

"We are honored to receive the 2026 Energy Vision Leadership Award and to be recognized for the work our team is doing to transform waste into a valuable source of domestic, low-carbon energy," said Adam Comora, Co-Chief Executive Officer of OPAL Fuels. "Our vertically integrated approach combines renewable fuel production with the infrastructure required to deliver that fuel to fleets, helping customers lower costs, improve price certainty, and transition away from diesel with a proven solution that is commercially available at scale today."

"OPAL Fuels has demonstrated the scale, integration and operating expertise needed to advance renewable natural gas as a practical transportation solution," said Matthew P. Tomich, President of Energy Vision. "For two decades, Energy Vision has championed practical, market-based solutions to reduce emissions, and OPAL Fuels' work transforming methane into low-carbon transportation fuel is a powerful example of that progress in action."

The recognition highlights how commercially proven RNG solutions can deliver both environmental and economic value by reducing methane emissions, lowering transportation costs and strengthening domestic energy security.
