Item 8.01 Other Events.

On February 20, 2024, PepGen Inc. (the “Company”) announced that it received U.S. FDA Fast Track Designation for PGN-EDODM1 for the treatment of myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1). A copy of the press release issued in connection with this announcement is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
