First new facility since the creation of Primo Brands in 2024 expands capacity for one of America's fastest-growing premium spring waters, sourced and bottled in Arkansas since 1871

HOT SPRINGS, Ark., Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Primo Brands Corporation (NYSE:PRMB), a leading branded beverage company focused on healthy hydration, today opened its new factory for The Mountain Valley® in Hot Springs, Garland County, Arkansas. The approximately 200,000-square-foot facility is the company's first new factory since its formation following the 2024 merger. The facility adds much needed capacity for a premium spring water brand experiencing strong consumer demand.

The Mountain Valley® and Primo Brands Corporation

"The Mountain Valley grew because people found it, loved it, and told their friends," said Eric Foss, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Primo Brands. "When a brand earns that kind of loyalty, our job is to make sure there's enough of it to go around. We invest responsibly and strategically where growth is accelerating, and we're proud to do it in Hot Springs, where The Mountain Valley has been a part of the community for more than 150 years."

Today's ribbon-cutting and facility tour brings together Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Congressman Bruce Westerman, state and local officials, community leaders and employees. An evening reception supporting the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival at the brand's historic building in downtown Hot Springs, home to The Mountain Valley's visitor center and museum follows. The Mountain Valley is a sponsor of the film festival.

The Mountain Valley spring and sparkling water has been bottled domestically and sourced from the Ouachita Mountains since 1871. In recent years, demand has increased significantly, with growth primarily attributed to word-of-mouth sharing. Together with Saratoga®, Primo Brands owns two of the five fastest-growing premium water brands in the U.S.

"Every green bottle of Mountain Valley carries a piece of the Natural State to someone across the country," said Governor Sarah Sanders. "For more than 150 years, they've been bottling what makes Hot Springs unique: water straight from the Ouachita Mountains with a crisp taste all its own. Some Arkansas treasures you have to come here to experience, but you can open this one wherever you are. I'm proud this new facility will help more Americans enjoy it while creating more jobs here at home."

The new factory opening comes as Americans are changing what they drink. Water is now the country's number-one packaged beverage by volume for 11 straight years, having overtaken soda, according to the Beverage Marketing Corporation, outselling, by volume, all other packaged beverages in 2025. It reached 46% of refreshment beverage volume in 2025. Premium water is one of the category's fastest-growing segments, with consumers actively choosing water brands based on their source, taste and quality.

"For over 150 years, Mountain Valley Spring Water has stood as a pillar of the Hot Springs community, proudly showcasing our state's abundant natural resources," said Congressman Bruce Westerman. "Today's event celebrates not only an exciting new chapter but also our rich heritage, and I'm grateful to Mountain Valley Spring Water for continuing to share Arkansas's story nationwide."

The Mountain Valley® water filters through sandstone and shale in the Ouachita Mountains, which gives it a natural minerality and crisp taste. Known for its signature green glass bottle, the brand is served at restaurants and at fine dining events, and a growing number of customers have it delivered at home in 2.5- or 5-gallon glass jugs.

The multi-million-dollar greenfield facility includes one retail high-speed and two large-format production lines, along with logistics and warehouse spaces, to modernize manufacturing for more efficient production.

"Mountain Valley has been part of who we are in Hot Springs for generations, and this factory means more of our neighbors will have a hand in making it," said Cole McCaskill, Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce Interim President and CEO. "That's good jobs for local families and a real vote of confidence in our community."
