Item 8.01 Other Events.

On July 28, 2026, the Board of Directors of Republic Services, Inc. (the "Company") approved a 4.5 cent increase in the Company's regular quarterly dividend to $0.670 per share. The dividend will be paid on October 15, 2026 for shareholders of record on October 2, 2026.
