Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers;

Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On July 31, 2023, the Board of Directors of Riverview Bank and Riverview Bancorp, Inc. (collectively the "Company") placed Kevin J. Lycklama on a paid administrative leave from his positions as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company pending an internal investigation. The investigation does not involve the Company’s financial condition. During Mr. Lycklama’s absence Dan Cox, who is currently the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer, will serve as acting President and Chief Executive Officer. Information concerning Mr. Cox can be found, and is incorporated by reference into this Item 5.02, in the Company’s Proxy Statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on July 21, 2023.
