Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(b) Riverview Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”), and its financial institution subsidiary, Riverview Bank (the “Bank”), announced that on August 4, 2026, Michael Sventek, Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, announced his intention to retire, effective October 30, 2026. Mr. Sventek’s notice in connection with his retirement did not indicate that his retirement was the result of any disagreements with the Company or the Bank. The Company is commencing a search for his successor and plans to utilize an executive search firm to support an internal and external search process.

The Company is well positioned for this leadership transition. Through Mr. Sventek's leadership the past three years, the Company has established strong client relationship and calling practices and experienced management depth that provide continuity and support the ongoing execution of the Company's lending and growth strategies. The Company does not anticipate any disruption to its operations because of the transition.
