Completes 2026 Store Growth Plans

DUBLIN, Calif., Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Ross Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ:ROST) recently opened 41 Ross Dress for Less^® ("Ross") and 10 dd's DISCOUNTS^® stores across 17 different states in September and October. These new locations complete the Company's store growth plans for fiscal 2026, with the addition of 115 new locations throughout the year.

"Each new opening allows us to deliver compelling value to even more customers while creating new jobs and making a positive impact in local communities," said Richard Lietz, Executive Vice President, Property Development. "Building on the strong performance of our newer stores, we are excited to open our inaugural stores in Massachusetts while strengthening Ross Dress for Less' presence in New York and other existing markets. At dd's DISCOUNTS, we are pleased to further expand in our established core markets of California, Florida, and Texas."

Mr. Lietz added, "We remain confident in the long-term opportunities for both brands. As customers increasingly seek great brands at great prices, Ross' off-price offering continues to resonate, and we believe we are well positioned to grow to at least 2,900 Ross Dress for Less and 700 dd's DISCOUNTS locations over time."

In connection with these openings, Ross Stores continued its longstanding tradition of community engagement by making donations to local Boys & Girls Clubs and First Book literacy partners, helping support youth development and access to educational resources in the neighborhoods we serve.

Together, Ross Dress for Less and dd's DISCOUNTS currently operate a total of approximately 2,377 locations across 45 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, and Puerto Rico.
