AHEAD, Trace3, and WWT join agentic cyber resilience alliance to red-team code repositories and secure AI workflows.

Rubrik GSI Summit – October 9, 2026 – Rubrik (NYSE:RBRK), the Security and AI Operations Company, today announced the expansion of Project Hourglass, broadening its partner alliance to deliver Rubrik Code Guardian alongside Rubrik Agent Cloud. Rubrik welcomed additional partners AHEAD, Trace3, and WWT into Project Hourglass, joining Cognizant, Deloitte, LTM, HCLTech, NTT DATA, and Wipro.

According to Rubrik Zero Labs, 86% of cybersecurity and IT leaders anticipate that the proliferation of AI agents will outpace their organization's security guardrails within the next year. Rubrik Code Guardian aims to provide partners the capability to proactively red-team client code within air-gapped environments, prioritize realistic attack chains, and maintain instant codebase recovery.

"Engineering teams are turning to AI models to accelerate software delivery, but speed cannot compromise security or architectural integrity," said Alok Agrawal, Chief Solutions Officer, Rubrik. "By incorporating Rubrik Code Guardian into Project Hourglass, we are ensuring engineering teams are able to conduct red-team analysis, prioritize business impact and reduce risk."

Securing Customer Source Code with Rubrik Code Guardian

Rubrik Code Guardian harnesses Anthropic's Claude Mythos 5 through a specialized security harness to evaluate code repositories against sophisticated, multi-step threat scenarios. Rather than operating on live production environments, the system tests a cloned, air-gapped copy of customer repositories.

Key capabilities Rubrik aims to deliver to Project Hourglass partners include:

Isolated Red-Team Analysis: Claude Mythos 5 operates inside Rubrik's security harness.
Attack Chain Discovery: The engine will reason across files, services, identity roles, and cloud perimeters to uncover chained vulnerabilities that conventional static tools miss.
Business Impact Prioritization: To eliminate alert fatigue, findings are verified for actual exploitability and scored by business criticality.

Equipping Our Partners with Agentic Cyber Resilience

Project Hourglass originally launched to operationalize Rubrik Agent Cloud for Anthropic's Claude Code, introducing runtime behavioral guardrails, prompt context protection, and Agent Rewind to reverse unintended actions.

By adding Rubrik Code Guardian, Project Hourglass offers an end-to-end security architecture. The program provides participating partners with joint go-to-market resources, dedicated technical certification tracks, and direct engineering access to accelerate client deployments.

AHEAD

"Customers want to adopt AI coding without inheriting AI-speed attack surface. By expanding our Rubrik partnership through Project Hourglass and Code Guardian, AHEAD helps clients close that gap, from architecture through deployment. Code is attacked, tested, and validated in a safe environment before it ships, so teams move faster with confidence, and Rubrik's recovery capabilities remain in place as the safety net." – Steven Sorensen, Specialty Solutions Engineer, Cyber Resiliency at AHEAD

Trace3

"Our clients are moving quickly to adopt agentic AI, and securing those environments requires a new approach to resilience. At Trace3, we are not only using Rubrik Agent Cloud internally to help protect our own agentic AI initiatives, but we are also bringing that hands-on experience to our clients. Trace3’s Resiliency Practice and AI risk and Governance practice is ready to help clients secure, observe, protect, and recover their agentic AI environments as they scale. That perspective and experience, as both a user and a partner of Rubrik, gives us a unique understanding of what it takes to build more secure and resilient agentic AI environments." – Sandy Salty, Chief Marketing Officer at Trace3

WWT

"WWT uses our Advanced Technology Center to test and validate innovative security solutions, making isolated threat testing a core part of our DNA. Integrating Rubrik Code Guardian through Project Hourglass perfectly complements this approach. The end-to-end security architecture ensures our clients achieve business resilience as they deploy new AI agents." – Chris Konrad, Vice President of Global Cyber at World Wide Technology
