Item 8.01.

Other Events.

On August 30, 2022, the board of directors of Sachem Capital Corp. (the “Company”) authorized and the Company declared a dividend of $0.484375 per share on the Company’s 7.75% Series A Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock (“Series A Preferred”) payable on September 30, 2022 to Series A Preferred shareholders of record on September 15, 2022. The payment represents the full amount of the dividend accruing from June 30, 2022 through and including September 29, 2022.
