1. Amount reflects an increase in beneficial ownership resulting from an exempt acquisition of common stock under The Community Financial Corporation Dividend Reinvestment Plan pursuant to Rule 16a-11.

2. Represents restricted stock units that vest in 3 annual installments beginning on August 20, 2021, the first anniversary of the date of the award. Each restricted stock unit represents a contingent right to receive one share of The Community Financial Corporation common stock.

3. Represents restricted stock units that vest in 3 annual installments beginning on December 17, 2021, the first anniversary of the date of the award. Each restricted stock unit represents a contingent right to receive one share of The Community Financial Corporation common stock.
