Explanation of Responses:

1. Represents award of restricted stock to the reporting person under the USA Truck, Inc. 2014 Omnibus Incentive Plan, as amended, as part of the non-employee director compensation package. The shares will vest on the date of the Company's 2022 Annual Meeting, subject to certain acceleration and forfeiture provisions.
