Explanation of Responses:

1. On February 24, 2025, the Reporting Person received a restricted stock unit grant of 47,518 units under the Ramaco Resources, Inc. (the "Company") 2017 Long Term Incentive Plan. The restricted stock units will vest in three equal annual installments beginning on January 31, 2026.

2. Each restricted stock unit represents a contingent right to receive one share of the Company's Class A common stock.

3. On February 24, 2025, the Reporting Person received a performance stock unit grant of 47,518 units under the Company's 2017 Long Term Incentive Plan. The performance period began on January 1, 2025 and will end on December 31, 2027. The performance stock units will vest based upon the certification of the Compensation Committee of the Company's Board of Directors as to the percentage of achievement based on pre-established performance targets.

4. Each performance stock unit represents a contingent right to receive one share of the Company's Class A common stock.
