Explanation of Responses:

1. Consists of deferred shares of DRDGOLD Limited (the "Company") awarded to the Reporting Person under the Company's Single Incentive Plan on August 12, 2026 and accepted by the Reporting Person on August 26, 2026. The deferred shares are subject to forfeiture and vest in three equal annual installments, with the final installment vesting on August 12, 2029, subject to the Reporting Person's continued service to the Company or its subsidiaries through each applicable vesting date.
