Explanation of Responses:

1. Each restricted stock unit ("RSU") represents the contingent right to receive one share of Class A common stock, $0.01 par value per share, of Vine Energy Inc. (the "Company") or an amount in cash or other consideration determined by the requisite committee of the board of directors of the Company to be of equal value as of the settlement date.

2. The RSUs were granted under the Vine Energy Inc. 2021 Long-Term Incentive Plan. 9,523 RSUs vest on the first anniversary of March 17, 2021 (the "Vesting Commencement Date"), 9,524 RSUs vest on the second anniversary of the Vesting Commencement Date and 9,524 RSUs vest on the third anniversary of the Vesting Commencement Date, so long as the reporting person remains a member of the board of directors of the Company through the applicable vesting date.
