Explanation of Responses:

1. The shares were issued to the reporting person pursuant to the Franklin Street Properties Corp. 2002 Stock Incentive Plan. The number of shares is equal to $45,000 divided by $1.62, the closing price of the Issuer's common stock on the grant date.

2. On June 16, 2022, 12,009 shares of the Issuer's common stock previously reported as directly held by the reporting person were transferred to the reporting person's revocable living trust, as to which he is the trustee with full investment authority and sole beneficiary.
