Explanation of Responses:

1. Reflects shares of the Issuer's common stock surrendered by the Reporting Person to satisfy tax withholding obligations upon the vesting of shares granted under a restricted stock award.

2. Between January 26, 2021 and December 15, 2021, the Reporting Person acquired 580.9506 shares of First Midwest Bancorp, Inc. common stock pursuant to the Dividend Reinvestment feature of the First Midwest Bancorp, Inc. Savings and Profit Sharing Plan. The information in this report is based on plan statements dated April 13, 2021, July 13, 2021, October 12, 2021 and December 15, 2021.
