1. The price reported in Column 4 is a weighted average price. These shares were acquired in multiple transactions on the same day ranging in price from $2.32 to $2.63, inclusive. The reporting person undertakes to provide to Charah Solutions, Inc., any security holder of Charah Solutions, Inc., or the staff of the Securities and Exchange Commission, upon request, full information regarding the number of shares acquired at each separate price within the range set forth above.

2. Amount reflects correct number of shares previously acquired which was inadvertently understated by 30,000 shares on the reporting person's Form 4 filed with the SEC on June 27, 2022.

SEC Form 4: Sewell Scott Andrew bought $31,771 worth of shares (13,000 units at $2.44), increasing direct ownership by 2% to 735,789 units
