Aloha Everyone,

Tri Counties Bank and First Hawaiian Bank are both strong, well-performing organizations with talented people who care deeply about their customers, colleagues and communities. We have a great deal to learn from one another, and we are excited about what we can build together.

Since the announcement of our partnership, there has understandably been a great deal of interest in what comes next.

We have been intentionally measured in our communication as we established the right structure for our teams to begin engaging with one another in a thoughtful and coordinated way. We appreciate the patience, professionalism and care you have shown during this time, as well as the thoughtful questions that have come forward from employees across both organizations.

We have established Integration Management Offices within both banks that will help guide the integration planning process. Their first priorities will be to open formal communication channels between our organizations and coordinate introductions between teams.

As we begin working together, clear and transparent communication will be essential. We want employees to have the right context as they get to know one another and begin building relationships across our teams.

As introductions begin, we will share more information about our integration priorities, how the work will be organized and how employees from both organizations will engage with one another.
